Vegim (KOSOVO) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 84 pt.2 Bio: Vegim's journey into the underground began in the early 1990's. At first, music was just a hobby. Once he began collecting records his obsession grew stronger and he invested in his first pieces of music equipment. 1998 was the year Vegim became a full time slave to the underground. He rapidly developed his skills as a DJ and in his Production. By the age of 18 Vegim had already discovered his lust for House & Techno. The desire to tell his story through music took over and Vegim has never looked back. Vegim's earliest experiments in the studio go back to around 2002. After about 4 years of hard work, he released his first EP - Creature 3000 with Nani Killa, this is his first tune which went on to receive support from a lot known World DJs. Today, Vegim is recognized as one of Techno's most influential artists. Not only a skilled DJ/Producer but also a graphics designer and coneptionalist that has a style unlike any other. He has released his own tracks and done countless remixes for many of the best known labels in the Techno realm. His tracks and remixes are well supported by dj’s like: Dave Clarke, Laurent Garnier, Chris Liebing, Richie Hawtin, Xhin, Joseph Capriati, Mark Eg, A Paul, Gayle San and many more. In addition to being a high demand producer, his live performance is one of the most unique in Techno. His sound and mixing ability combined tell a story that is one of a kind. Vegim has traveled a long road since he began and he is now recognized as a symbol of techno worldwide. LXS aka Lexis (SLO) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 82 pt.2 Bio: LxS is a new techno project,started in September 2010,by slovenian well known hard techno dj and producer Damir Ademi aka Lexis.After a time dedicated to create his specific sound,he is now ready to rock.LxS project doesn't consist on only one style,so there are no limitations in a sense of creation for him,that's why he manages to produce different styles of techno,from hardroove to dark techno. Until the end of this year,his first releases will go out,as he recently finished a rmx for Horacio Cruz, which will be released on a well known Portugeese label Naked Lunch,runned by techno producer APaul,and his first techno vinyl release on a French label called Reactif Records. Drumcomplex (DE) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 81 pt.2 Bio: Work-sharing is not uncommon with Techno duos. On the contrary, it is the rule rather than the exception. On the Techno scene this is only natural. One of the counterparts, with the right training, focuses on the professional record production output, while the extroverted one faces the raised fists of cheering fans on weekends and tries to relax with some quiet time on weekdays. Arnd Reichow, part of the duo Drumcomplex, has been an example of the second type all his life. Daniel, who holds a degree in sound engineering and who is also Arnd's brother, is an important support - privately as well as professionally. There could hardly be a better way to complement one another. Who has not at some point asked the question "How complex can Techno be?"As far as Drumcomplex is concerned, the answer must be: Techno can reach a degree of complexity that gets the utmost out of studio work and live performances through a perfect division of work – and has been doing so for the past ten years and more. This is also reflected in the discography: These two cover a range of prestigious Techno and TechHouse labels that would have others drooling: MB Elektronics, Phobiq, Different is Different Records, Toolroom Records, Railyard Recordings, Resopal Schallware, Definition Records, SK Supreme Records, Techno League Rec, K:lender. Firing on all cylinders, and an emphatically recommended sound system since 2003 is the upshot of all the hard work in the studio which has earned the label mass movement phenomenon over many years. And what about out there, in front of the crowds? This will raise a smile on the face of anyone who has ever seen Arnd perform in front of a crowd. And why? Because one might well ask the question how, after 20 years of DJing, someone can be so light-hearted and level-headed in their approach at the same time. Maybe it is just that magical spark from the first hour of Techno's unspoiled core that flares up at each of his sets, and always illumines the crowd a little bit as well. All that acting up around the DJ booth is certainly not for him. Arnd is the DJ who does not disappear backstage to sip champagne when he is done; he is the fan who celebrates the records of the next act together with the rest of the crowd. It is this open and honest style that brings this "Drumcomplex" to people in such a simple manner, so that no one in the crowd is able to resist its almost childlike charisma. A spark of harmony that would be nice to see more frequently on the scene again. Lorens (POL) - NightVision Techno PODCAST 80 pt.2 Bio: Sebastian was born in 1982. He created his first sets using computer programs. In 1999 he stood behind the gramophones at the Kolonia club in Siedlce. There he played various types of house, ranging from deep to French, tribal and tech house. As time passed he began to seek new musical experiences, which led to the first vinyl releases in Detroit-style techno. His fascination with music and search for new sounds never stopped. Since 2006 he has been active with new ambitious electronics. He prefers the sounds of electro and minimal techno. Proof of his abilities came with his first prize in the M25 club’s (Warsaw) DJ contest, which gave him the opportunity to appear alongside Pier Bucci.
